Click the link below to see a presentation of Glogs created by 8th grade students as part of a project on career research. The students were required to answer 7 questions relating to their career of choice.
What does the person do all day? What are the job responsibilities?
What is the education level required?
What kind of salary level do people in this career receive?
What other kinds of career might be related to this?
What kinds of skills do people in this career need to have?
What kinds of personalities might people need in this career?
Any other interesting information about this career?
As part of the career research project, students were also given an option to present their information in Prezi. This was an especially good option for the "gifted" ACE students, as students were required to do the tutorials availabe in Prezi and then learn to work with the software on a "trial and error" basis. While they experienced some frustrations and were tempted to quit (on occasion), they stuck with it and were very proud of their results.
